Walt Disney's Hollywood Studios will have its final Power Ranger show this Saturday (August 7th). The Power Rangers have been sold back to their original owners. You'll be missed!

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Summer Nightastic Drop Profile Changes

As part of Summer Nightastic! this year, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror havebeen given temporary changes that will be in place until August 14, 2010, alongwith some new audio effects, and visual changes in the 5th dimension scene.SPOILERS AHEAD!The new drop profile is probably the most aggressiveprogramming done so far in all of the TOT profile history. Features more max.height drops, use of the entire available drop shaft. The amount of time in the drop shaft is comparable to the previous Tower of Terror 4 profiles. This will bethe only profile during Summer Nightastic!. Other New Effects: The 5th dimension scene has been completely covered on both sides with a black curtain containing astar field. The doors leading to the drop shaft are closed and a image that was earlier taken of everyone in the elevator, this then fades away so you are looking at a picture of an empty elevator . Then the door opens and the elevator enters the drop shaft.Some new music has beenadded just before to the start of the drops (something from the Tip Top club?).The Rod Serling narration is now gone. Green lights have been added at the top of the shaft to add a greenish glow out into the park once the doors open.There is aalso wall inside the drop shaft that is lit once again.
